"Every year, a thursday at autumn equinox, all lights are turned off and thousands of torches are lit along Akerselva. If you walk alongside the river this particular evening, you will experience an urban, atmospheric nature and thrilling artistic elements"

This was the 2nd year HTN contributed to this event and the Nomads set up camp at the foot of the Grünerløkka silo. Our main installation consisted of three faces cast in plaster. These were hung on the wall of a bike-shed and lit up by a projector 5-6m further back, shooting aprox 1.5min loops. The impact was heavy. Strange how people react when they see eyes staring back at them.

Apart from the face-casts, all we used was a pretty basic projector approx 4000ansi and a laptop with Modul8, MadMapper plus a few wares from the Adobe suit.
